Szuper! Nekem is elfogadták a Cavium-os beszámolót, úgyhogy tervezek menni. A csütörtöki megbeszélés jó ötlet.
Adott esetben a summit-on meghívhatunk további Intel-es arcokat, akiket érdekel az előadásotok, ill. a P4 téma.
Hátha ezzel lehet segíteni Christian-nek embereket találni. ☺

Szia Gergő,

A mi talk javaslatunk is elfogadták a DPDK Summit-ra!

Sanyi

Thank you for submitting a proposal for DPDK Summit Userspace. We’re pleased to inform you that we have selected your presentation for inclusion in the conference. Here’s some further information:

Date and Location

• I’m sure you know this already, but just as a reminder the event is on in The Clayton Hotel<http://www.claytonhotelballsbridge.com/>, Ballsbridge, Dublin on September 26th and 27th.

• You’ll need to make your own travel and hotel arrangements in Dublin. When booking with The Clayton Hotel, you can use the discount code KTSE260917 if you book before September 10th. The discounted rate is €169/night, and applies only on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th.

Event Registration

• If you haven’t already done so, please register for the event at: https://dpdksummit.com/

Agenda

• The full agenda is attached and will be published shortly on https://dpdksummit.com/. You check the timing and duration of your presentation there. Note that in some cases presentation durations have been reduced from what was requested in order to fit everything into the agenda.

Cancellations

• If you’re no longer able to present for any reason, please notify dpdk.summit at intel.com<mailto:dpdk.summit at intel.com> as soon as possible.

Speaker Release Form

• We need every speaker to complete and return the attached speaker release form. This can be submitted electronically to dpdk.summit at intel.com<mailto:dpdk.summit at intel.com>.

Timing

• You can determine how much of your time is used for presentation and for Q&A. You can limit Q&A time to give you more time to talk, or do the opposite if you want a more interactive session. You should reserve some of your time for Q&A, because this is intended to be an interactive event, and because it’s a great way to get feedback from the community.

• We’ll have somebody assigned to monitor timing during the event, so that we stick reasonably to the schedule. They’ll coordinate with you in advance to let you know what kind of prompt they’ll give and at what stage during your presentation (e.g. 5 mins remaining).

Slides:

• You’ll need to make sure that your slides are suitable for public presentation. That means no confidentiality markings in slide footers or elsewhere on the slides, no confidential info disclosed in slide contents etc.

• This a technical event with a technical audience, not a sales and marketing event. Slides need to focus on the technical issues, and should not contain a sales pitch for your products.

• We’ve attached a template you might want to use, but it’s optional and you can use something different if you prefer. However, you should use a 16:9 format because that’s what the projector will be set up for.

• Final slides should be submitted to dpdk.summit at intel.com<mailto:dpdk.summit at intel.com> by Friday 22nd September.

Type: Presentation
Duration: 30 Minutes
Title: T4P4S: When P4 meets DPDK
Abstract:
T4P4S is a P4 compiler supporting flexible re-targetability without sacrificing high performance packet processing. To achieve this goal, it is split into hardware dependent and independent components: 1) all the hw-related functionalities are defined by a low-level library (NetHAL) to be implemented for each target; 2) the core compiler translates P4 programs to hw-independent C code using NetHAL. This talk will show the architecture of T4P4S and the design decisions made to support DPDK.
