Looks good to me!
(All times below are in BRT)
I should be available on:
Mon: from 15h30 to 17h30 (best day for me)
Tue: from 17h30 to 18h
Wed: from 17h30 to 18h30
Then there are the numerous coffee breaks and lunches.
Friday I should be back to Indaiatuba, so any time is fine with me
(after 9am).

These are valid points. I think if time permits, we could have a short
local discussion on Mon (or Wed) afternoon, and another with Skype-in
folks from Budapest on Friday morning. And I believe we'll also meet
during the conference.
According to the proposed agenda points, I'd say we could split like:
* Mon (45-60 minutes):
o Review of the sigcomm papers and demos of the teams
o Lessons learned @ Sigcomm (discuss other papers from similar
areas - session 1. - would be better on Wed than Mon)
o Performance optimization “tricks” with DPDK and ODP
o OpenFlow vs. P4 vs. fd.IO discussion: what is the “killer app”
for P4?
* Fri (30-45 minutes):
o Lessons learned @ Sigcomm (discuss other papers from similar
areas - session 2.)
o 2016 H2 plans, better align ELTE and Campinas teams if needed
I think on Monday we'd require all of the members who will be on site
(Christian's team, BME + ELTE teams, Ericsson people), while on Friday
I'd say Christian, Peter and myself are mandatory locally + the ELTE
team on Skype, while the rest of the team is optional, although I think
it would be good if somebody from BME also showed up.
What do you say?

great idea! I also vote for Monday afternoon, though that would
prevent us from discussing work presented in sigcomm (main track plus
demo/posters). Wednesday by the end of the agenda would could be also
a good slot after we run our demos and saw related work...
cheers

Hi Gergely,
That’d be really nice.
I’d vote for Monday afternoon, since I’ll be gone on Friday.
Btw, unfortunately I’ll miss part of your paper presentation on Thu to be
able to catch the flight back home.
But let’s wait on the others, there are more important presences than mine J

Subject: P4 f2f meeting in Florianopolis
Hi Christian + team,
As I’ve mentioned before, it would be very good to have a face to face
meeting during the Sigcomm week in Florianopolis with the people who are
interested in P4 and dataplane performance. I’d invite Peter from the ELTE
team, Levente and Gabor from the BME team (they are not P4 people, but have
vast experience in dataplane performance measurement and optimization) and
of course Laszlo from our team, who is our best DPDK expert.
The rest of the ELTE team (lead by Mate) would like to join via Skype, so it
would be good to find a slot which is suitable for both of us. I’d think
this would be possible either on Monday or Friday, and probably less easy
during the conference main track (Tue-Thu)
Preliminary agenda:
- Review of the sigcomm demos and the present status of the teams
- Lessons learned @ Sigcomm (discuss other papers from similar
areas)
- Performance optimization “tricks” with DPDK and ODP
- OpenFlow vs. P4 vs. fd.IO discussion: what is the “killer app”
for P4?
- 2016 H2 plans, better align ELTE and Campinas teams if needed
What do you think?
BR,
Gergely
