I uploaded the assignment text and my solution to SVN. It requires 
sockets and mutual exclusion (just synchronized blocks).

Proposed release date is April 10.

Feel free to read through the assignment and send feedback, corrections, 
etc. I most likely didn't get everything right for the first time. 
Someone should try to solve it as well to check errors in the text.

I believe solutions for this task can be tested automatically: existence 
of bugs (such as absence of mutual exclusion, and absence of concurrent 
access) can be detected by testing. But to avoid tester bugs and 
platform specific issues, we should only release an automatic tester if 
at least 3 people can try it with success.
